Get a glimpse of Banjo Kazooie in high definition

Since I cannot embed Gametrailers large, wonderful HD videos, I am simply going to have to link you to their newly posted XBLA Banjo Kazooie trailer in HD form. Bottom line is it looks very pretty, I mean sure you can really see how blocky characters and structures are now, but don’t forget this is an HD N64 game, textures really seem improved however and I can’t wait to play this game. Don’t forget as we previously reported that if you reserve Nuts & Bolts at Gamestop you will get this a full two weeks before it hits XBLA…for free! Not only that, but achievements you unlock in BK will unlock more features in Nuts & Bolts.

Pre-ordering Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts gets you the original for free on XBLA

Not only will BK: Nuts and Bolts only be $40 (confirmed by pre-orders) but if you pre-order the game at participating retailers (most likely places like Gamestop, Best Buy, etc) you will get a free voucher code to download the original Banjo Kazooie on XBLA . Since the code will be able to be used the day Nuts and Bolts comes out, this will give you access to download the original about 2 weeks before it is officialy released for download on XBLA. Sounds like a really great deal to me, I just hope I don’t find myself playing the original more than Nuts and Bolts simply because it is said that certain events that you complete in N&B opens up brand new never before seen content on the original Banjo Kazooie, nice!

Original Banjo-Kazooie is coming to XBLA this holiday

Some of the most exciting news to come out of E3 so far to me is that the original Banjo-Kazooie will be coming to the Xbox Live Arcade this holiday along with BK: Nuts and Bolts. Beyong that no more details were announced. I am sure we will see a slight HD buffering of the dated N64 graphics, so it will definitly look great on the 360. No doubt this is great news for platform fans because not only is this one amazing platformer, but it gives us hope that more titles of Rare will be considered for XBLA releases as well.
