New Sonic On Its Way To Wii

Sonic and the Secret Rings is getting a sequel: Sonic and the Black Knight.

A few days ago the supposed cover for next month’s Nintendo Power leaked. It featured the blue blur armed with a sword. Many decried it as fake:

Two Sonic titles on their way? One with Sonic as a werehog half the time, the other with him as a knight of the round table? Do you like all these re-inventions or do you think Sega’s lost it?

Review – Sonic the Hedgehog Pocket Adventure (NeoGeo Pocket Color)

With no handheld of their own to support, SEGA licensed their Sonic property out to SNK for their NeoGeo Pocket in the late 1990s.  The resulting game is interesting for two main reasons: 1) it was the first step toward the Sonic Advance/Rush series and 2) it’s a face-off between old and new gaming values without a clear winner being decided.

LEAKED! Screenshots, Trailer and Details of new Next-Gen Sonic title!

Someone has discovered screen shots of a new Sonic game  while browsing a “SEGA FTP” located under a title of “Sonic Unleashed” according to the website SonicStadium. The screen shots show a CG scene as well as some possible gameplay (as seen above). With a title of “Sonic Unleashed” I am sure there will be no shortage of an over the top extreme vibe from the game with a heavy metal soundtrack, but as long as the game plays great that’s all that matters. It is reported that Sonic will have a Werewolf alter-ego of himself…want a trailer (!), more details and screenshots? Want to know if the game is 2D or 3D? Read on!

Awsome Classic Sonic vinyl statues coming from First4Figures

First4Figures will be selling these awesome 4-5 inch vinyl figures come July. No price point has been announced as of yet, however judging by the other statues on their site it’s safe to say each one will probably be in the $40-$70 range. I for one will be buying all 3 (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles) and everyone they release afterwards simply because the classic design of the sonic series remains my favorite  in gaming history. They will look great in anyone’s collection, I will be sure to re-post once the release date draws near!
